Never fly faster than your angel can fly. It's not polite.

Mama Jean FayChaplain's Corner

The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.

- Douglas MacArthur

Dear Lord, hold our troops in your loving arms, Protect them, Father, as they protect us. When they are tired give them strength, if they are wounded, give them comfort and if they are lonely Lord, touch them with Your gentle hand and let them know You are near.

- Amen

Hugs,  It's wondrous what a hug can do, A hug can cheer you when your're blue. A hug can say, "I love you so."  Or "Gee! I hate to see you go."  A hug is, "Welcome back again."  A hug can soothe a small child's pain, And bring a rainbow after rain.  The hug!  There's just no doubt about it,  We scarcely could survive without it.  A hug delights and wams and charms, It must be why God gave us arms.

Hugs are great for fathers and mothers, Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers, And chances are some uncles and aunts Love them more that potted plants.  Kittens crave them. Puppies love them.  Heads of state are not above them.  A hug can break the language barrier, And make the dullest day seem merrier.  No need to fret about the store of them, The more you give, the more there are of them.  So stretch those arems without delay And give someone a hug today.

What we await are new heavens and a new earth where, according to His promise, the justice of God will reside. So, beloved, while waiting for this, make every effort to be found without stain or defilement, and at peace in His sight. Consider that our Lord’s patience is directed toward salvation.

- 2 Peter 3:13-15a
